Domestic air medical evacuation averages $10,000 to $25,000,

regions they serve. Members requiring remote evacuation will
need to meet inpatient criteria as determined by MedjetAssist
prior to evacuation. Continued transport to the member’s hospital
of choice will be completed if the member continues to meet
inpatient criteria after initial treatment and stabilization.
Most importantly, unlike typical platinum card benefits & travel
insurance coverage, MedjetAssist lets you decide which hospital
will be your final destination. Other programs may require lifethreatening
or critical illness/injury, often have health questions
& pre-existing condition exclusions to enroll, & may only
transport the party to what they consider to be the “nearest
appropriate facility”.
