Our guide crew has more than 150 years of combined Alaska fishing and hunting experience. We know we can do great job of getting you to where the game is! You’ll be spending part of your time in base camp, and we want you to be comfortable and happy during this part of your trip. So, we made a decision long ago to provide excellent guiding service “with the best possible accommodations” available for our remote locations.
Alaska Peninsula Accommodations
Alaska Brown Bear Hunt
If you have decided to book a brown bear hunt with Deltana Outfitters, you will arrive on the Alaska Peninsula in a remote Alaska fishing town via the commercial operator Peninsula Airways. We will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the bed and breakfast which is our base camp. Here you will be given an excellent meal and begin the necessary prehunt paperwork. After paperwork, you will 
change into your hunting clothing and may be flown to your Alaska Wilderness brown bear spike camp hunting location--if tide, time and weather permits. Otherwise you may spend the night in base camp and be flown out the next day.
At base camp, you will be provided with quality meals, bath facilities, satellite television, and comfortable sleeping quarters.
Once you are flown out to your brown bear spike camp via our super cub, your new home for the duration of the hunting in the field will be a quality North face or equal tent that can handle the wind and rain. Weather on the peninsula can be very challenging, therefore, the tents must be of quality and have the profile to stand in the wind. Because of our exclusive guide concession (where no other guide can hunt), we are not allowed to build frame structures. You are truly in a wilderness brown bear spike camp. We will provide you with a quality, comfortable new North face sleeping bag and a sleeping pad. You will be fed fresh frozen food and lots of snacks. You will not go hungry. When your hunt is complete, we will pick you up and return you to the base camp where you can freshen-up and receive a quality meal, then prepare for your trip home.
Brooks Range Accommodations
Alaska Sheep, Caribou, or Grizzly Hunt
If you have decided to book your hunt with Deltana 
Outfitters for a Dall Sheep, Caribou, or Grizzly, in the Pristine Brooks Range of Alaska, you will arrive in Prudhoe Bay on a commercial flight, either Alaska Airline or Frontier Airlines. We will pick you up at the airport and transport you 80 miles to our Happy Valley Base Camp. Here, your accommodations will be “the best of the essentials”, with a 10x12 cabin with heat and electricity, and a shower facility in the camp. 
Upon your arrival in base camp you will be given a quality meal in our dining facility. Also, you will purchase your license and tags, complete your paperwork for your hunt and change into your hunting clothing for your super cub flight into the Remote Wilderness Brooks Range to your spike camp.
Here you will be staying in a quality tent. You will also be provided a new North Face sleeping bag and a ground pad. From this spike camp you can hunt daily, or have the option to spike out even further (where the airplane is unable to land), with a lighter spike camp.
In your spike camp you will be provided with fresh frozen 
food, lots of snacks, and dried food which you can consume in your spike camp or carry to your even more remote site.
Once your animal or animals are taken we will pick you up with our super cub and return you to the base camp. Here you can freshen up with a good shower and a quality meal and prepare for your return trip home.
