Before You Book a Hunt, do your homework!
If the professional hunter, outfitter or guide you are about to book with is not an APHA or IPHA full professional member, red flags should go up. The professional members of APHA & IPHA adhere to a worldwide standard of excellence and accountability to a firmly established behavioral and ethical governing body. Deltana Outfitters are proud members of these fine organizations.
Before you choose an outfitter or guide:
- Ensure that they are properly licensed for the area and species to be hunted.
- Ensure that they are a full professional member, in good standing, with the Professional hunting association of the State, Province, or Country where you plan to hunt,( example: the Alaska Professional Hunter’s Association and International Professional Hunter’s Association).
- Be certain to check references of the recent several years for your guide.
If the professional hunter, outfitter or guide you are about to book with is not an APHA or IPHA full professional member, red flags should go up.
Do your homework - you owe it to yourself. Think of it as hunting insurance.
Booking a Hunt with Deltana Outfitters
Our normal practice is to send a packet of information by regular mail to prospective clients who have expressed an interest in our hunts. But we recognize that some hunters want to have this information right away instead of waiting for mail delivery. If that's you, please feel free to review and print out any of the documents further down this page.
Want our packet by US mail? No problem. Just tell us your preference on our contact form.
